What a First Day on a Hair Extension Course Often Involves
What to expect and what to bring
Days run a little differently from course to course, so treat this as a general picture and confirm the details with us.
The start
Most days begin with introductions and a talk about hair, scalp health and safety. You are likely to meet the tools and products you will use.
The practical part
Expect to learn by doing: sectioning, fitting and, usually, removal, with a teacher watching and correcting. You will probably practise on a training head.
What to bring
- Tied-back hair and comfortable shoes
- A notebook and a pen
- Questions written down in advance
What to ask beforehand
- What time does it start and finish?
- Is lunch provided, or should I bring my own?
- Is there anything I should not wear?
